Visitors can view the main Scenery District Gate with an optional visit to see the Golden Jade Guan Yin. View the Buddhism Sutra carved walls via a sightseeing cart. Visit the Nanshan Temple, which was built during the Tang Dynasty by a renowned monk – Master Jianzhen. Visit the Garden of Good Luck and Happiness. Featured here are some Lo Han bronze statues and a Good Luck Palace. Enjoy a vegetarian lunch at Nanshan Temple. Finally shop for some local products before returning to the ship. QSYX-002 – The Ends of the Earth Commonly known as ‘The Ends of the Earth’ Tianya-Haijiao is a vast area with limitless seas, and volatile, unpredictable skies. On two huge stones at the beach, are written: “Tianya” (meaning ‘the edge of the sky’) and ”Haijiao” (meaning ‘the utmost end of the sea’). These words were inscribed by Chengzhe, chief magistrate of Yazhou. A short trip to the local crystal shop is instore before you head to Luhuitou Park which is also known as ‘Deer Turning Its Head’ Park. It is located at Sanya Bay and surrounded by the sea on three sides. Legend says that a young hunter discovered a beautiful spotted deer when he was hunting in Five Fingers Mountain. He was after her for days until they reached Sanya Bay. Surrounded on all sides by sea and unable to escape, the deer suddenly looked back just before the hunter was about to shoot his arrow and turned into a beautiful maiden. Today, a 15m sculpture of a deer glancing back stands on the top of the ridge. Stop for a sumptuous seafood lunch before stopping for some shopping at the local shops. QSYX-003 – Xiao Dong Hai Recreation Tour A short visit to a local crystal shop before leaving to Xiao Dong Hai Beach. Visitors will be able to enjoy the water-sport facilities. Head to the ship after a sumptuous lunch.
